Ahead of Indonesia’s 72nd Independence Day, the State Secretariat Releases the Theme and Logo Guidelines

MALANG, NUMuda.com – After adopting the theme “Indonesia in Action” for the previous Independence Day celebration, this year’s Independence Day theme is “Indonesia Working Together.” Through this theme, the spirit of togetherness—a cultural trait deeply rooted in the Indonesian people—is once again being rekindled.
The 72nd Anniversary "Indonesia Kerja Bersama" logo serves as a reminder of the spirit of mutual cooperation in building a better future for Indonesia. The number 7 in this logo symbolizes an arrow pointing forward. Meanwhile, the number 2, which wraps around the number 7, symbolizes unity. Additionally, the colors of the number 2 represent the Indonesian flag, consisting of red and white.
Detailed guidelines for using this logo can be found on the official website of the Ministry of State Secretariat. An official letter uploaded to the site specifies the dimensions and colors required for displaying the logo in both print and digital visual works. The Independence Day logo must be at least 2 cm in size and may only be used in red, black, and white. It must not be placed directly over colored images. Likewise, the logo’s design must adhere to the original specifications published by the government.
The regulation of logo usage and the elaboration of this year’s theme remind us once again that unity in building Indonesia must be accompanied by harmony in our actions. Just as the wisdom behind these logo usage rules is not intended to stifle the nation’s creativity, but rather to ensure harmony so that this year’s Indonesian Independence Day celebrations appear beautiful and in unison.
